Very Hard Knot In Areola, No Help From Warm Towel And Massages. History Of Childbirth 5 Months Ago. Suggest

Im 21 years old and I have a hard knot in my areola, I had a baby almost 5 months ago... But it just came up like 2 weeks ago. Its as hard as a rock. I've tried the whole warm towel and massage thing but it doesn't seem to be going away or getting smaller. I dont have insurance and we are really tight on money so I dont know how I'm going to be able to get a mammogram. What should I do?

Dear patient
Welcome to this forum
The lump in your areola could be a fibroadenoma which can be surgically removed and nothing to worry.at your age this is the most likely diagnosis.
You should consult a surgeon who will examine you and guide you.
You have to rule out malignancy by doing mammogram.it will clear your doubts
Thankyou
All the best
