Does A Cyst In Breast Suggest Breast Cancer?

My friend recently had biopsy done because of a cyst on her breast. Right after biopsy, she developed some puss. The doctors have just removed an uncontrollable puss from her breast and they will remove the breast today. What it could be? Does that mean she has a breast cancer. Biopsy reports haven't come out yet.

Hi,

It could be infection or Cancer. Chances are there that the physical examination has more clues to point it as cancerous, hence doctors had decided to operate. Biopsy results will confirm. Women should not ignore such symptoms in their breast. It is always important to check with your GP if any abnormalities found in breast. Early detection has better prognosis. It is important to have a healthy eating and exercise patterns in place.
