Very Big Pimple On Back With Severe Pain, Lot Of Pus, Bleeding Too. How To Get Rid Of This ?
Hello Dr, I have a very big pimple on my back which is going to break in 2 or 3 days.I had this before with severe pain when it breaks. There was lot of pus and bleeding too.Now again it has appeared. As a result i have body pain,too. When i touch that particular area it is stony ( you can say hard,) Kindly advise, also when it is healed it gives a black spots on my back. What can i do to get rid of this ??? Arun.

The pimple isis painful and haed which indicates that it is pus filled
You need to undergo a minimaly invasive procedure , Incision and Drainage under a cover of antibiotics
Black spots are what we call as postinflamatory hyperpigmentation
Once the pimple heals you may apply depigmenting cream like hydroquinone twice daily
you may get done spot peels with TCA in addition

As per your query,you are getting recurrent attacks of swelling with pus.
It is sebaceous cyst,swelling which occurs due to hair follicle .The swelling has punctum,a dark area over it at the site of hair.
As it is painful,it got infected.Now,you have to get it drained and use antibiotic and anti inflammatory drug.
The dark spot is punctum which will remain after drainage of pus.
Next time,when the swelling occurs,get it removed completely with cyst wall and along with punctum.
Then,there will be no dark spots.
