Undergone Miscarriage. Having Hypothyroidism, Stressed. Taken Fertility Drug. Suggestions?
Hi,my name is Ayesha.I have some issues using cerophene which is a fertility drug.I used it and got pregnant.but by the end of my first trimester I miss carried that baby.accord ing to the doctor they didn't hear the baby's heart beat.m very confused and stressed nowadays.my question is that is it bcoz of using fertility drug or some other reason I miscarried.and yes I do have a thyroid problem.I got hypothyroidism after the birth of my 1st baby.plz plz do reply.
Hello thanks for your query. I assume you mean Clomiphene citrate ( typing error in your question ). It is not the reason for your miscarriage. Ideally, you should have had testing of the dead fetus to know the casue of the abortion. Causes for missed abortion include chromosomal anomalies, hormonal imbalance, blood group incompatibility etc. Check your latest TSH levels, and bring them under 3, as well as carry out detailed testing suggested above, before planning next pregnancy.
