Trying To Conceive, Unable To Remain Sexually Aroused. How To Retain And Sustain This Feeling?

Hello Doctor, I am 25 years old female recently married(less than a month) . I have questions related to physiological questions related to sexual intercourse My partner and myself are trying to have intercourse for the first time and i do not feel sexually aroused after initial few minutes of being sexually aroused . I am able to identify the primary problem to be fear of intercourse and pain associated with it. May i request ways to overcome fear and sustain the feeling of being sexually aroused.

Hi thanks for your question.
Sexual arousal depends upon certain factors.Most important among them are;
How much comfortable your with your partener?
How much relaxed you are?
How much your interested your in sexual act ?
Finally how much fear of pain from sexual intercourse for the first time your having ?
If you can take care of all the above factors, sexual intercourse woun't be a painful act for you.
One important thing you should remimber is that foreplay before sexual act is very important.
I think probably your problem is your afraid of intercourse for first time because of fear of pain.
Relax,it is not painful act,if you are mentally prepared,relaxed,comfortable with your partener and proper foreplay is done before intercourse.
After keeping in mind all the above factors,if you still fail,I would suggest you to consult a psychiologist.
Hope this answers your question.
