Trying To Conceive. Have A Failed IUI, Have A Follicle. Can I Get Pregnant?
dear doctor i had first baby in 2005 then in 2009 i had dnc then after that iam trying to concieve but failed .then i made IUI that also failed that time i made hsg few months back i had mild block in one tube and it got cleared at same time by repeating .now my hsg report normal in ultra sound detected i have no polyp cyst or fibroid still not concieving.i am getting 1 follicle only with size 12 on 11th day of my cycle.what is the reason for not becoming pregnant

You can follow below steps with your doctor's advice:
-Semen analysis for the husband.
-Ovulation induction to you, followed by follicular study.
-Some women may have late development of the follicles. You can take injections of HMG with your doctor's advice which will help in early and good development of follicle.
-And plan intercourse around the time of ovulation. These can increase the possibility of conception.

Ideal size of follicle at the time of rupture is 18-22mm. Since follicle is not developing in your case i recommend you to get your blood checked for hormones-Thyroid, FSH, LH, Estrogen,Sr Testosterone.
If everything is normal, there is nothing to worry. Reduce your weight if overweight, eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Keep yourself active and stress free. Chances of conception are good for those who already have kids.
