HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Semen analysis gives a general idea of the capacity of a male to conceive with his partner but some men with abnormal results do conceive.

The supplemental medication that you are currently using may help in a small way to improve your semen analysis but based on the levels given, may not increase to the normal levels.

There are methods of assisted reproduction available that you and your wife can explore to help with conception.
You can consider speaking to your doctor to obtain a referral to a fertility specialist in your area who may be able to help you.

I hope this helps

OBGYN Dr. Timothy Raichle's  Response
Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

With regard to the low sperm count, you need to see a Urologist who will perform and exam to determine if there is anything present that will cause these low counts, such as a varicocele. If the exam is normal, the medications that you mention are unlikely to have much of an effect. You might also need to see a fertility specialist to discuss other options.

I hope that this helps and good luck!
