Took Nuclear Medicine For Nodule On Thyroid Gland, Thyroid Got Low. Put On Levothyroxine. Will It Help ?
Hello I want to ask about my thyroid problem I had a nodule on my thyroid gland I had nuclear medicine to take care of it after that my thyroid was low I was put on 25mg of levothyroxine to get it leveled it had gotten leveled for little bit now it's back high and my doc wants to raise my dosage to 50mg with the same meds that he has been giving me to raise my hormone levels

hi.. you are treated with radioactive I ablation for the thyriod nodule, this will destroy the thyriod tissue.. later on you are put on thyroxin supplement, which is required for the normal metabolism of the body.. so please follow the instruction given by your doctor.. bye..
