After that I had no period till Jan. And Then I got my period for Jan month -2013 . and I have not got any periods then. I consulted doctor here in US and I was prescribed progestrone herbal harmone tablets. I took them for 10 days. And I was asked to call back after 14days . This is my 11 day after completing 10 day course. I have not got my periods yet. I dont know what to do? I just cannot imagine taking that one pill would alter my entire year menstral cycle.. Hi,
Thanks for the query.

You may be having hormonal imbalance of both estrogen and progesterone hormones.
So taking combined oral pills may induce bleeding in your case. After consulting your doctor you discuss this possibility and proceed accordingly.
Just by taking one pill entire menstrual cycle may not change.
Many factors can affect the menstrual cycle. With your doctor's advice you once go for hormonal profile including thyroid profile, prolactin levels estimation and ultrasound examination. By this workup the possible cause for your problem can be identified and treated.

Take care.
