To Calculate Gestational Age, Embryo Measurement Is More Reliable Or Gestational Sac Measurement?
Hi doctor, I am 7.4 weeks pregnant. Embryo= 13 mm; that is correct, as I see, for 7.4 weeks. But the gestational sac measurement is 30 mm. Is that correct? Or is it too big? I read that the gestational sac measurement is not so realiable as the embryo measurement to calculate the gestational age. Thank you.
The embryo measurement that is the crown to rump length is a better indicator of gestational age......gestational sac size is mostly not used to calculate gestational age...However most accurate method is by lmp that is last dates of periods
