Throat Burns While Coughing With Constant Headache And Low Fever. Are They Cold Symptoms?

I m not sure if these are common cold symptoms, but I rarely get sick. My throat burns when I cough. Which is often. I have a headache that won t go away. A low fever. Tired. Achey. My hands shake when I use them. And hurt with nerve like pain. Should I see a doctor?

Hi and thanks for the query,
Looks like you have throat infection.
Usually it is viral so there will be systemic symptoms like tiredness, weakness, headache netc.
You can take a painkiller for the headache.
Follow some general measures like...
1) Gets lots of rest.
2) Drink lots of water.
3) Do warm salt water gargling 4 times a day.
4) Avoid air conditioning and cold foods.
If you do not feel better in a few days see the GP. You may require antibiotics.
Regards, Dr Kishori.
