Testicle Discomfort. Ultrasound Normal. Should I Be Concerned?

hey! I have a question, I just got an ultradsound for my testicles they told me I was 100% good. I asked how long into the future ulstra-sounds can see, and they said months, as in if something comes up in one month, they'd be able to see it starting up at my ultrasound. I got it done last week, and now I feel something new on my testicles that doesn't feel right. But, they said that the ultrasound detects problems months into the future, so I just want to know whether to be oncerned for not. Please help me ease my mind, thanks.

Hello!

Thank you for the query.

It is hard to answer your question as you havent mentioned much about your symptoms.
Testicle ultrasound is a good test to rule out testicle cancer, testicle cyst, scrotal hernia, varicocele and some cases of inflammation.
What can be missed in the ultrasound is testicle or epidydymal mild inflammation. This can cause a discomfort in one testicle as well as burning while urinating, frequent urinating.
So ultrasound has ruled out all bad things. And you should not be concerned. You may have urine analysis and urine culture test done.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
