Teenager. Delayed Periods, Cramps, Nausea, Low Appetite, Stress. Pregnant?

Hi,
I am 19 yrs old,
I'm on my 4th day since missing my period (I can be irregular with stress), I took a UPT yesterday, but it came out negative.
I'm experiencing sudden cramps which occurs with a tingling sensation in my vagina, and soon after it, nausea.
The nausea generally lingers for the whole day, and my appetite has diminished over the past few days.

Is it perhaps that my stress/anxiety is causing these symptoms? Or could it be that I am pregnant?

Thank you,

Hi,
Thanks for your query.
You have not mentioned are you sexually active or not.
Delayed period may be a sign of pregnancy and may be because of stress and hormonal imbalance also.
Consult a gynecologist for urine, blood test and ultrasonography to rule out pregnancy and other causes.
Don't worry.
Take care.

General & Family Physician Dr. Nehal Mehta's  Response
hello,
thank you for using health care magic,
if you had unprotected sex during your fertile period then there are high chances of being pregnant..urine pregnancy test can be false negative in early stage.. i will suggest you to consult gynecologist and take more confirmatory test like beta hcg level or ultra sound.. if you are pregnant then since this is early stage abortion can be done just by pills..
or other possibility is that delay in your periods is simply because of stress which is also common..
wait for few more days else consult gynecologist..
