Taking Tylenol Is Causing Fever, body Ache & Fatigue

I have had chills then fever toward the end of the day and about one in the morning for a week. After I take tylenol the fever breaks and I sweat excessively. Initially I had body aches and fatigue. I have not had congestions, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The symptoms seem to be related to a Viral infection.

I suggest to take Tylenol every six hours to relieve the fever.

I also suggest drinking liquids and eating a healthy diet.

It is also important to rest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards!
