Taking Epilim 500 Cr Twice A Day For Bipolar Disorder. Smokes Marijuana As Well. Any Side Effects Of Taking Both Of Them Together?
My husband is on Epilim 500 Cr for bipolar disorder. He takes two tablets in the morning at about 7 and another in the evening between 5 and 7. I have recently discovered that he is smoking marijuana as well on a daily basis. I am totally devasted but more so I would like to know if there are any side affects that can occur between taking this medication and his new drug habit

i have read your problem your husband take epilim with marijuana .. marijuana may nullify the effect of epilim ..or bipolar disorder may aggraveted so consult psychiatrist for the same . marijuana my affect many system of body nervous system . cardiac system sexual system etc..
you psychiatrist will advise you how avoid habit of marijuana of your husband , other wise all your efforts of treatment for bipolar disorder are wasted ..you can also consult us side by side ..thanx

Your husband is using epilium,(valporate) and also using marijuana also, your doubt is is there any unwanted interactions, between these two.
Of course there are some like, dysarthria, Delerium,expressive disorder etc But as he has no symptoms You need not worry about it.
As a trial tell him that it is not a good practice,if don't accept, also there will be no problem .
