Swollen Reddish Sore On The Hand Due To Cat Bite. Using Bromeliane, Colloidal Silver And Doxycycline. Proper Medication?

My cat bit me day before yesterday( Thursday night) on the back of my left hand . It bled a little, even tho it was a deep penetration. It is infected.....swollen, red, and sore. I am taking bromeliane to ease inflammation. And topical and internal colloidal silver. It is not worsening, but neither is it improving much.I have an unused Rx of DOXYCYCLINE , is this an appropriate anti-biotic? I do not have liver disease .
