Swollen Lymph Nodes In The Neck With Pain. Reason?

Doctor, My name is Lisa and I am 55 years of age. I see many queries regarding swollen lymph nodes in the neck, but none I can relate to. Hope I am not wasting your time. Two days ago I noticed a swollen lymph node on the right side of my neck. Painful to the touch. I do not have any health care insurance whatsoever and am unemployed at this time. Any ideas?

For solitary lymph node swelling anti-inflammatory medicine ibuprofen 400 mg thrice a day after meals is okay for 5 days . if it doesn't subside you need tests of blood and FNAc (Fine needle aspiration cytology) to reach cause and definitive treatment
