Hello dear,i understand your concern. In my opinion the pcod is routinely seen these days due to change in lifestyle.Pcod is one of the treatable causes of infertility.Absence of ovulation is the problem leading to irregular cycles and there by infertility. So ovulation induction drugs like clomifene is given in pcod. It is given from D2/D3 to D6/D7. There after follicular study is done to monitor ovulation and around the ovulation intercourse is advised.HCG injection also induces ovulation if natural ovulation fails. This is tried for 4-6 cycles. If no response with it then other advanced artificial reproductive techniques are tried.Weight reduction is most important in pcod for regularisation of cycles.Avoid stress as it migt delay fertility further.Ovarian drilling by laparoscopy also gives good results in pcod.
