HI
Thanks for posting your query .

First of all since when you have been having fractured backbone ? IF it's been more than 1 month then I think walking is not going to cause any trouble to your back .
In that case start walking at your own pace for 1st week . With time you can increase the pace of your walking and after 1-2 months start jogging .

If it's less than 1 month then just take rest and start the exercise after 1 month .

Along with that start dieting -- Eat more fruits , vegetables and drink plenty of water . Avoid non veg food , sweets , carbonated drinks and junk food .

Any clarifications feel free to ask .
