Suggest Treatment For Vomiting And Stomach Pain

I just got my labs back and my AST is 65 and ALT is 77 and my total Bili is 1.1, I have been getting sick every time I eat anything fryed or greasy, I throw it up, and get pain in my upper right side. Could this be my gallbladder? or my liver? I get so tired all the time and I get chills during the day and during the night, even when I have tons of blankets on. I had shoulder surgery in December and now they tell me I can not take any pain meds, so what do I take for pain? Therapy hurts like heck... Help!!!

Hello,

The given history of vomiting after eating oily or greasy food may be due to biliary disease but is too early to say anything about it because it required investigation, without that it cannot be said to biliary system dysfunction (Liver, gall bladder, pancreas and other).

But the present complaint of vomiting could be suggestive of dyspepsia and initially it can only be treated for that, dyspepsia most of the time associated with acid peptic disease (Hyperacidity) and for that tablet Rabeprazole with Domperidone once in day can be tried for three weeks.

If the symptoms persist even after taking medicine for dyspepsia, then it is most advisable to go for ultrasonography test that is to rule out the live, gall bladder pathologies.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Husain
