Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic

Herpes gets transmitted by intimate skin to skin contact (sexual Or non-sexual) with an infected partner.
Considering the fact that your fiancee has oro-labial herpes, it is very likely that you got both genital herpes as well as throat herpes, from him during one of the sexual encounters; virus getting transmitted from his labial mucosa to your oral mucosa through kissing as well as genital mucosa via receptive oral sex.
Though virus transmission is more common during an active episodes of cold sores but it can also transmit during asymptomatic intervening periods because it is being shed from time to time from the infected oral mucosa.
Treatment of oral as well as genital herpes is with oral antivirals e.g acyclovir or valacyclovir.
Now that you have a confirmed herpes there is no alternative but to accept it.

Regards
