Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Terminal ileitis may be due to infection by yersinia or inflammatory bowel disease or infection with typhoid fever etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

You may need upper gi endoscopy and need biopsy. A serological examination also can be done.

Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
