Suggest Treatment For Syringomyelia

I have a 16 yr old daughter that has been diagnoised with syringomyelia ...she has extreme pain in her back and has very sever migraines...she has loss of feeling in her arms and fingers at times and gets weak in her legs..also her legs turn a faint blue color at times... she has a very pronounced curve to her spine which i feel is probably scoliosis....she also has been getting small ulcers on her finger tips... she was diagnoised in 2005 and she recently had an mri and it does not show the syrnix getting any larger but her symptoms have gotten where she can hardly stand it..they say there is really nothing they can do for her and dont think she needs a shunt because it isnt growing...what options should be available for treatment and are there any medications that could help..they suggest physical therapy but i'm afraid she will be in even more pain when they "work the area"...any suggestions?
