I have had a stiff neck and headache since Monday. It is now Sunday evening...I have a sore throat with white patches and a fever which has hovered between 99 and 101.3 degrees for the past two days. I have been experiencing chills as well. I went to immediate care today and was told I do not have strep and monospot was negative. After these tests came back negative the doctor looked in my throat, said it was swollen and gave me an antibiotic, sending me on my way. Tonight I had a severe nosebleed which brought me to my knees and made me very dizzy...I am concerned it is something more serious.
