Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
Hello,

As he underwent knee surgery post there will be a weakness of the knee muscles leading to change in the gait mechanism. Due to which there will be changes in the alignment of the spinal column leading nerve entrapment. Doing exercises for strengthening the knee muscles and core stability along with the hip muscle will help improve the knee stability and spinal column stability. By this, the pain and aches will be reduced.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
