Are Compression Stockings Safe To Wear On A Sprained Ankle?

Question: they want to destroy th emain great safroheius vein in my leg vein because it is moderateratly incompetent.i had ultrasound done last monrh.in march it was compent with no vein problem.i had surgery on that leg 3 years ago and have severe apin in the hip all three hamstrings were ruptured and repaired 3 years ago with scar tissue covering th siatic nerve plus ai have a spriened left foot .my toes on the left foot sre going numb .I don't want to get the vein destroyed yet because its only moderste plus Iwant to know if I should wear the compression stocking if my anke is sprsined.can oi hold off on the vein surgery for a few months or more to see if it gwts worse or improves

thank you for the reply.arecompression stocking dangerous to wear if you have siatic nerve damage in your leg?also I have a sprained anke in my foot also that isn't severly hurting but the compression stocking are so tight on my foot I am afraid it will worsen my foot sprain.would I be okay to hold off on the comporesion stocking until my foot sprain heals?

I am definitely seeing the foot sdoctor soon plus the vascular surgeoun soon so I will ask them these gusetions.i do appreatiete your time and wish you a good day.

yes sir I do appreciate you emailing me back in a timely manner .you are very mi=muc appreciated.i wastold just recently to wear thecompression hose and since I have the sprained ankle I was walking to see the foot doctor next week at the appointment since I just had my mri on my foot to see what he stated about the anke sprain and the comporession stocking.ho often do I need to keep the stockings on during the day?do I wear them the entire time I am sleeping or can I sleep without them on ?
