Suggest Treatment For Sleep Apnea With High BP And Diabetes

I have sleep apnea, acute anxiety/depression, high blood pressure, diabetes-2, high cholestrol, start of macular degeneration/cataracts on my eyes. All are under control, for right now with meds, except my sleeping. I have went to several specialists (neurologist, sleep specialist, ear, nose, and throat specialist). This has been going on for about 2-3 years now, and I am just tired of being tired all of the time. I dream constantly, and approx. 2 months ago started talking in my sleep. I cannot use the machines, and I have partials so the mouth pieces are out, too. I quit my job of 26 years that was very stressfull, and my doctor recommended it. The ear, nose, throat doctor I went to about a month ago said no obstructions, so now what? This is not good for my health at all, and I have requested copies of all of my medical records to try and get a second opinion but will not receive them for awhile. This all started about a year before my mom passed away, and since that happened our family has seemed to fall apart from my son with sinus cancer (twice), and this time it is terminal and he is in a nursing home at 36 years old currently with hospice checking him all of the time. I almost lost my closest cousin that went through emergency surgery on her stomach and was on life support for a long time. She is better now but it has probably been 2 years or more and she is still recovering. My husband had both of his hips replaced completely, so I took care of him two different times, but the same year. I drew short term disability from my work before quiting, and unemployment because my doctor requested me to not go back to work in that environment. I thought I could maybe go back to work for a few more years until I can draw SS, but not in the shape I am in. What do you suggest that I do? I am trying the bipap machine I have again, but I cannot sleep with it on either. Constant dreaming, talking in my sleep. Please advise as soon as possible.

The best treatment of sleep apnea remains CPAP and in few cases BiPAP, In your case you have been adviced that, but you are unable to use it ,rather not able to sleep with machine hooked on. So the best way is discuss this with you sleep specialist, The doctor may try to figure out the problem areas in the use of machine, so that you may be comfortable with it. Secondly, So many life events around you , that you have mentioned, some way or the other drains out ones positive energy and that might have caused mental stress definitely, so when you have gone through so many events, a psychiatrist and a pscyhologist can be of great help, with their medicines as well as the counselling they provide to bring you mental strength again back to normal. So take these consultations and you might feel well.
