Suggest Treatment For Skin Pigmentation On Face

I'm 38 years old man from Malaysia. I'm having skin pigmentation on my face and doctor giving me demelan cream to be apply at night and sunscreen spf 50. Somehow after 2 weeks, seem like no improvement on the affected area and maybe become worth. Fyi, I'm also taken Vitamine E 322mg at night and Vitamine C 525mg daily.
How long it will take for me to se the effectiveness? Please advise.
