Suggest Treatment For Shingles

i have contunious pain an burning , ,i had the shingles about 8 years ago , seams they never go away. could it be that aging was on the right side ,seams that if this is it travling around neck frfom right to left stiff an buring cant stand for my hair to touch my neck

Hi there,,,welcome to HCM
-You are suffering from condition called 'Post herpetic nueralgia', it is a painful complication of shingles....It usaully remit with in 6-12 months but in old patients it may last for years...
-To relief the pain you may apply lidocaine or capsaicin skin patches over the affected area..
-You may use pregabalin or gabapentine, with or without amitriptyline to
combat its nueropathic pain...
