Suggest Treatment For Severe Asthma

I have C.O.P.D and Asthma. The Asthma used to be periodic say a couple of weeks in the year but this time it has been for several months.I wheeze very badly at night and cannot get the phlem up.
This is the main concern and any anti-biotics prescribed by the doctor have been to no avail.I have just been given a spray called Spiriva Respimat [Tiotropium] and again this is to no avail.
My wife is getting very worried because she cannot sleep because of my wheezing.I am also worried that I may not live a long life to see my 6 year old boy grow up as I am 65.The wheezing is getting worse because I cannot get the phlem up can you help me

Hi, see your continuous wheezing is bcuz of tracheobrochial hyper response both due to asthma and chronic bronchitis.there are many group of drugs like adrenergic agents, inhalational steroids, injectable steroids etc which would reverse your symptoms ,what u have to do is immediately consult pulmonary physician for best treatment and do regular follow up and yes quit smoking if u are doing
