Suggest Treatment For Retinal Damage

my wife is on dialysis 3 times a week for 4 hours
She has undergone 2 surgical procedures on her right eye for retinal damage (bleeding and scaring due to diabetes. She was referred by the surgeon to another specialist for cataract in the eye. She is now told she has a herpes virus and was prescribed acyclovir 400 mg 5x daily. She is experiencing tingling, hallucinating, She quit the medication yesterday after 2 days. Do I need to take her to the hospital?

Acyclovir has been prescribed to treat herpes. surgery is not possible without treating all infection. it will be total failure. tingling and hallucination are neurological and psychological problem you may consult respective specialist
