Suggest Treatment For Redness In Uvula And Pain In Head

my son fell and a pool stick went into his throat hitting his uvula. it is still connected fine but is purple, red and white. this happened yesterday. having him gargle with warm salt water and he said the back of the bottom of his head hurts too. is there anything else i can do for him?

hello, thank for ur query, red swollen vuala due to injury May progress can cause airway obstruction, take him to ent surgeon for d depth of injury and measurement swelling for proper treatment. salt water gargling alone may not help. he requires oral antibiotics and pain killers or steroids. all d best. take care.
