After a dose of calpol he did not have fever any more for 12 hours now . His eyes are only red and a bit swollen and it looks like theres is a broken vessel in it . He is touching he eyes like they are itching him but not constanly . For the moment we put eyedrops (oculosan). until when do you think i should wait if they clear up to go to the doctor? Thanking you in advance Charlotte

Hello
It seems from the history that your son is having fever and red eye.
This can be because of inflammation of the conjunctiva in the form of conjunctivitis and requires use of antibiotic eye drops.
Oculosan is a decongestant eye drop and it helps only to reduce the redness without treating the underlying cause.
Hence you may require to use antibiotic eye drops like moxifloxacin eye drops.

Thank you
