Suggest Treatment For Recurring Intestine Infections

Dear Doctor,

I am Suman living in Bangalore, India. I am 50 years of age and ten years back has cholesecectomy. Since last December (1 year), I am suffering from frequest infections in intestine. There is bloating, gas, uneasiness with diarrhea. Sometimes diagonised as IBS, then SIBO... I have bee taking RAZO 20, IMODIM and RIFAGUT on and off for relief..however, there hasnt been any permanent relief. Need help.

Take Rifaximin 550mg thrice daily for 14 days. If it makes your symptoms better then you have Ibs. But you should go for sigmoidoscopy first before making diagnosis of exclusion IBS
