Suggest Treatment For Recurring Anal Fissure

Hi Doc... I am being treated for anal fissure as well as L5 dislocation... as in there is nutritional imbalance... i am taking calcium supplement + nuroday... 2 months back i noticed a yellow patch at the tip of my left thumb nail (foot) and the right ones seems a little brittle... but the rest are fine... not sure what it is... also my fissure is not healing... the cuts reoccur every now and then... i have to use xylocaine ointment 5% every morning... but i cannot use it forever... can u help... i am not keeping well for the past 3 yrs and am very tired...!!!

Dear you may be have fungal infection to toe nail, with chronic anal fissure.

For onychomychosis you have to use ciclopirox topical 24-48wks with oral anti fungal agent after confirming the infection under dermatologist guidance. For fissure you have to take high fiber diet with syrp. Cremaffine plus 15-30ml at night with diltiazem gel local application. If symptoms not improved you may need surgical lateral sphincterotomy.

Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
