Suggest Treatment For Problem Passing Stools

Hi Doctor, my son is 8 months old
He is suffering from fever as he as ear conjunction. so doctor suggested us clamp kid for 7 days
We were using this medicine for 2 days...
My baby is now suffering from motions now ... is it normal as he is taking that medicine ?
If so what i can give him to have energy?
