Suggest Treatment For Pain In Left Pelvic Region And Right Flank.
i have spasmodic pelvic pain on the left side and right flank, on and off and it is very bad sometimes.i am a 42-year-old female with a history of uterus and left ovary removal.earlier i used to have pain on right pelvic side. appendicitis and kidney stones have been ruled out by the ct scan.the ct scan showed cysts on the right ovary.now the pain is on the left pelvic region and right flank.

The possible causes of your pain are:
- In case if you are having multiple cysts in right ovary with enlarged size there is possibility of pain due to that.
- Adhesions due to previous surgeries can also lead to pain. Usually minimal amount of pain can be treated with antispasmodic drugs.
In case of small sized cysts low dose hormonal pills can help in decreasing the size, if you are not having medical complications like diabetes, hypertension, tendency for coagulation abnormalities, etc. If pain still persists, you can go for diagnostic laparoscopy to find out the possible cause of the problem, in case of adhesions, that can be relieved in the same sitting.
