Suggest Treatment For Pain In Ear

I had an ear infection and packed wax in my ears that the dr couldn't remove until I used a softening agent for a week. When I went back to have my ears irrigated again, the wax came out but one of my ears is still painful two days later. It feels like it hurts deep into my head. I'm on augmentin for a skin infection (for the past two days also).
