Hello Thanks for writing to us with your health concern. If she gets rid of her ovaries, how would she conceive ??????????????? PCOD - polycystic ovarian disease - is not a problem with the ovaries, it is a baseline hormonal disorder. Due to hormonal imbalance, the ovaries get studded with various small cyst like follicles. Ovulation and periods are unpredictable, conception is often difficult. In order to conceive, she would need the aid of ovulation inducing drugs. Also, weight loss is a must. Metformin might help. All the best Take care.
