Hi. I have a question for you... This morning I went into a local women's clinic to have a medical abortion. My last period began on January 15. I should be around 6 weeks. During the ultrasound the technician was unable to find anything, though she did the large ovarian cyst which I understand is a normal part of pregnancy. I took a digital at home pregnancy test just over a week ago and got a positive result. The test they have me at the clinic today came back very faint. They said I might just not be far enough along but they also were concerned that it could be ectopic. I have not been experiencing any pain or bleeding and I am 100% sure on the start date of my last period. Should I be concerned?

Hi, thanks for using Healthcaremagic.
Usually pregnancy sac will be seen by 6 weeks. As you are sure of your last date, in regular periods, sac should have seen by this time. Better to get repeat test done after a week.
Regards
