Suggest Treatment For Itchy Hives On The Body

For months now I have had what I thought were hives. I get them everywhere on my body at any given time of the day. It doesn t matter where I m at or what I m doing. But now they aren t just welps they are actual knots. And they are very painful and itchy. They make my hands swell, they get in my head and the knots feel like I m growing horns. I can t figure out what it is. But I don t feel like its an allergic reaction.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history you are having urticaria.
My treatment advice is -
1. Avoid fast food and food with artificial colors.
2. Avoid any medication without consulting a doctor as it may worsen the condition.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.

If problem persists then consult a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
