About 4 hours ago, my eye itched because I have allergies and I put some Clear Eyes in. It then started feeling like I had something in my eye. About 30 minutes later, I went and looked in the mirror and why eye looked really shiny and there was a slightly thick mucus on the outside corner of my eye. I tried to use a tissue to dab it up, but the mucus just moves a little and it looks liked it is attached to my eye.

Is this actually mucus or did I hurt some layer of my eye?

I have had allergies for years, but this is the first time this has happened. My eye does not hurt, but it still feels like something is in it.
