Suggest Treatment For Herpes Zoster Ophthalmicus

Hi my mom has shingles but no longer has any rash or vesicles. She has herpes zoster opthalmicus which has left her with a swollen eye and bad pain which we (her opthalmologist and us) think could be Posherpetic neuralgia. Can she take Norco if the pain is too bad? Or can she use neurbion will that help?
