General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As your a case of postcholecystectomy. Few of patients present with delay in stomach emptying leads to present as heaviness in stomach. Nothing to worry much. It gradually improves with time. For now drink plenty of water, avoid heavy meals, go with small frequent meals, use Aristozyme syrup for indigestion. If problem persist for more than 2 yrs, get a consult with gastroenterology for an endoscopy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Tata Lokesh Kumar, General Surgeon
