Suggest Treatment For Frequent Hearing Loss And Blocked Eustachian Tube?

Doctor, I have a high frequency hearing loss at age 82 and a blocked Eustachian Tube, with no progress as yet from the meds. Am I jumping the gun by getting hearing aids while I have this problem? My Audiologist says I need hearing aids now. Thanks for your answer.

Hi, you are having sensori-neural hearing loss and blocked Eustachian tube does not lead to this type of loss. Hearing aids are the preferred form of treatment for such a loss. You are not jumping the gun. Regards
