Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of gases and wants to know whether it needs medical treatment, wants to know digestive system, types of foods that cause this discomfort...
Passing of gases is not normal at all for a person with normal gastrointestinal system.
The causes are:
Aerophagia due to stress and/or anxiety.
Intolerance to some foods.
Aflatoxins in some food.
Intestinal bacterial flora imbalance.
Intestinal infections
Aerated drinks
And combination of any of the above factors.
I would advise you the following:
Tests of stool for 3 consecutive days.
tests of blood for enteric infection, diabetes, thyroid and such problems.
Ultrasonography of the abdomen.
A course of an antibiotic active against the intestinal bacteria, add on probiotics and multivitamins and to see its results.
This will help you to get a proper diagnosis and plan a proper treatment to get the results of having life without the need to pass the gas inadvertently.
I find this answer helpful
