Suggest Treatment For Ear Infection

I have an ear infection. Both my ears were syringed anyway 6 months ago.My doctor carefully syringed my ear again.is it risky to syringe your ear too often? I had an infection in the other ear last time(6. Months ago).Could another ear infection be the sign of an underlying problem?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Kindly mention which type of ear infection, is it present like a bacterial or fungal infection. If needed, then syringing can be repeated without any problem. Diabetes will not lead to frequent ear infections. For that, check random blood sugar. For an ear infection, antibiotic drops can be prescribed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
