General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted your history of symptoms of nasal blockage and headache, CT scan showing deviated nasal septum, hypertrophied turbinates, bilateral maxillary sinusitis and so on. Since you have got symptoms of headache and nasal blockage, the corrective surgery for deviated nasal septum, turbinate surgery if the surgeon thinks so and clearance of both the maxillary sinuses may help you to have proper improvement of symptoms.

Also to be noted is to cover medical management of the problems which may not be cured by surgery. Watch for the instigating or enhancing factors of symptoms like some foods, beverages, fumes, dust and such allergies. Such things may need a repeated or long medical management. Please have proper consultation of an ENT Surgeon, get ENT Endoscopy and correlate with the investigations to see for the prognosis. Take care to avoid all allergen, instigating or enhancing factors.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
