Suggest Treatment For Bilateral Ear Ache

Earlier today, I jumped off a boathouse into the lake. Usually, I hold my nose but when I hit the water, but my hand slipped off my nose. I experienced excruciating bilateral ear pain. Then I took a nap. Now, the pain is unbearable. Will it go away or should I head to the e.r.?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello & welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
As per your clinical history it appears that you are having some barotrauma to ears.
If I were your treating doctor, I would advice you
Steam Inhalation twice daily,
Paracetamol for pain &
Antihistaminic levocetirizine + Montelukast combination .

Keep ear dry (don't put any ear drop) ,don’t allow water go inside while bath.

I will suggest you to please consult your ENT doctor because here clinical examination is very important to diagnose the real fact and accordingly treatment may be planed.

Hope this information helpful to you .If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Regards.
