Suggest Treatment For Anxiety

Is there a web page I can go to, to put in all my symptoms and it will give me a list of possible ailments. I have had severe anxiety with panic attacks all my life. To calm myself I pull out all body hair including nose and private parts. I have been working with Mental Health for 8 years now and I ve been on several medications (6), but none have worked. I m currently on Zoloft and I m the worst I have ever been. NOW I have several problems, most began after having Shingles. I have pain through my entire body, lock jaw on right side, swelling in hands and fingers, tennis elbow (both), ear pain, the lock jaw pain sends a pain up to the right side of my head up to my head and gives me a headache, I have swollen eyes with light sensitivity and blurred vision, I have abdominal pain below my belly button, a charlie horse constant pain beneath where my shingles rash was, I have dark circles around my eyes (top and botton) and my face is pale, I have chronic lower back pain. Family and Friends are telling me something is wrong. Everytime I go to the ER (which is alot) they tell me I m having a panic attack, which I am, but from symptoms that cause too much pain for me to handle. Pain medications hasn t helped at all. Once a doctor knows my mental health status, they tell me it s just Anxiety and send me home. Been with them for 25 years and in the last 8 years I declined to the point where my job retired me under a disability pension. I feel like I m dying and dont know what too do. Any help is appreciated!

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
You need proper treatment for the same. There are various effective therapies for depression like fluoxetine, venlafaxine, bupropion, mirtazapine or escitalopram and they are all very effective and mostly safe. You may also require some benzodiazepines like clonazepam or lorazepam for a short period like 2-3 weeks to reduce the anxiety and help with your sleep.
If you are averse to the drug therapies then there is also an option of cognitive behavioural therapy. This therapy is taken by either a psychologist or a psychiatrist in which the therapist identifies impaired cognitions (Thoughts) and try to correct them. They are 15-20 min weekly session and there should be around 8-10 sessions to help you with your illness.

Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
